Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire demo to be available in Europe from October

Nintendo Europe has announced that download codes for the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo will be available at certain stores and events from October until launch.
In the UK and Ireland, download codes will be available from GAME stores via Nintendo Zone from Oct. 15 until launch. Amazon, Smyths Toys, ShopTo and the Nintendo UK Official Store will be sending these codes out to fans via their internal databases starting Oct. 15. The codes will also be available at MCM London from the Oct. 24 to 26. Additionally, the codes will be available through a number of other Nintendo partners until mid-November, including Wikia, Bin Weevils and Nintendo Life.
In the Netherlands, download codes will be available at Firstlook 2014 on Oct. 11 and 12, as well as at the Nintendo autumn tour.
In Portugal, download codes will be available FNAC, Media Markt and El Corte Inglés stores. The codes will also be available at IBERANIME OPO 2014, Lisboa Games Week and Comic Con Portugal.
In Belgium, download codes will be available at F.A.C.T.S. in Ghent on Oct. 18 and 19, and at the Nintendo On Tour Mall Tour (more information about this tour will be revealed at a later time).
In Italy, it will be available in Topolino and Il Giornalino in October and Focus Junior in November (exact publication dates will be announced later). It will also be available at the Nintendolandia Tour, which is held at major shopping centers in Italy from Oct. 18 to Dec. 14 (further information about the tour will be announced later). Additionally, it will be available at Milan Games Week held in Fiera Milano City from Oct. 24 to 26, and at the Nintendo stand at G! Come giocare held in Fiera Milano City from Nov. 21 to 23.
In Spain, Germany, Switzerland and Austria download codes will be available from Oct. 15 through a method that will be announced later.
While Nintendo France has posted a news article about the new Nintendo 2DS designs, no information about download codes was mentioned, unlike other regions.

* Nintendo confirms distribution mechanism in the UK for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version – available from 15th October 23rd September 2014 – As anticipation mounts for the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire on 28th November, Nintendo has today revealed upcoming hardware offerings for Nintendo 2DS that present new designs for the system. On 7th November, both Nintendo 2DS Transparent Red and Nintendo 2DS Transparent Blue will release in Europe, presenting the hardware in new eye-catching forms. Aside from the side paneling, both offerings are transparent in design, revealing the skeleton of the system underneath both the front and back of the system casing.
Following on from the announcement of the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version, Nintendo UK has also today confirmed the distribution mechanism for how fans can get hold of the Special Demo Version in the UK from 15th October.
The codes will then also be made available through a number of other partners including Wikia, Bin Weevils and Nintendo Life until mid-November. The Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version features gameplay that players won’t experience anywhere else. During the course of this early adventure, players are likely to encounter a familiar Pokémon that can now Mega Evolve. What’s more, this Mega-Evolved Pokémon can be brought into the full Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire games. Reward items obtained during the Special Demo Version adventure can also be brought into the full game. Details about how to bring Pokémon and items into the full game will be announced soon. ” | ||
