TCG Standard format rotation for 2019 revealed

New season starts on July 9 and rotation begins on Sep. 1

The official rotation for the 2019 Pokémon TCG Standard and Expanded formats has been revealed. The new season will begin on July 9 2018 but the rotation will not occur until September 1 2018.
The following sets will be in the Standard format:
- Sun and Moon
- Guardians Rising
- Burning Shadows
- Crimson Invasion
- Ultra Prism
- Forbidden Light
- Shining Legends
- Sun & Moon Trainer Kit: Lycanroc & Alolan Raichu
- SM Black Star Promos SM01 and above
- McDonald's Collection 2017
No sets will be removed from Expanded format. Therefore, in addition to the sets above, the following sets will also be in the Expanded format:

Archeops from Next Destinies, Forest of the Giant Plants from Ancient Origins and Lysandre's Trump Card from Phantom Forces will continue to be banned in the Expanded Format for 2019 season. Further expansions will become legal in the Standard and Expanded formats on the third Friday of the month during which they are released.
