Pikachu Records (Media Factory) has announced two new Pokémon soundtracks set for release in Japan this summer. The first, ポケットモンスターAG 新オープニング&新エンディングテーマ (Pocket Monsters AG New Opening & New Ending Theme), will be released on July 16. The second, 「劇場版ポケットモンスター ミュウと波導の勇者ルカリオ」, (Theatrical Version Pocket Monsters Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero Lucario), is a soundtrack for the eighth movie and will be released on August 3.

The title of the first soundtrack appears to be tentative, as it suggests new opening and ending theme songs for the Pokémon anime sometime before its release. The official title and track list of this maxi-single CD will be revealed after the debut of those songs.

The latter album is expected to follow the tradition of past Pokémon movies and will feature the film's musical score as well as any vocal songs that are featured in the film. A track list is unavailable at this time but is expected to be revealed around the release of the movie on July 16.

Pocket Monsters AG New Opening & New Ending Theme is priced at ¥1,365 and has a catalog number of ZMCP2302. Theatrical Version Pocket Monsters Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero Lucario is priced at ¥2,520 and has a catalog number of ZMCP-2303. Both are becoming available for preorder on various Japanese retail websites.
