I strongly believe we should lead at most 2 articles on the main page. No news service I've ever seen, including newspapers, features more than 2 articles prominently on their front page, main page, or "A1" page.

3 is excessive, and 10 in the "in the news" column is also too much. Might wanna chop that down to about 6. There are more problems, but I'll discuss those on AIM. Evkl 20:10, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Whatever is decided on, my current events generator script allows input for how much each section can have, so there'll be no worries there. --Meowth346

The front page updater can now be controlled via Template:Current events/Settings. It should be fairly self-explanatory. A word of caution - breaking should be 0 or 1 only, leads should be 0, 1, or 2 only.

We need a tag for "Developing" stories or something. {{developing}} which displays "Developing: More information forthcoming..." or something of the like would be useful. Evkl 01:09, 4 May 2005 (UTC)

"Developing" is merely a euphemism for draft. I suppose we do need a template to remind people of it though. - 振霖T 08:02, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
