The password is stated to be revealed Sept. 7, 2011 on a special page found on {{bp|Pokémon.com}}. The skin will be available for download from Aug. 31, 2011 to Jan. 11, 2011.

The Pokémon Global Link has begun distributing several C-Gear skins today.

North American players have access to a Zoroark-themed C-Gear skin. The password is stated to be revealed Sept. 7, 2011 on a special page found on Pokémon.com. The skin will be available for download from Aug. 31, 2011 to Jan. 11, 2012.

Likewise, a C-Gear skin of Deerling in its Spring Form has been released for Japanese players with no password required. All other players have access to the same skin, but require a password to access it. Its password has been revealed on Pokémon.com to be JJW2X97D. This skin will be available from Sept. 1, 2011 to Oct. 5, 2011.
