Giratina's Origin Forme

The third companion to Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions, Pokémon Platinum Version (ポケットモンスタープラチナ), was officially announced today by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo. The game, much like Emerald of the previous generation, features an altered storyline (now with Giratina appearing at Mt. Coronet), as well as different outfits for the protagonists. Additionally, Giratina appears in its previously-announced Origin Forme, whose ability is now known to differ from Pressure (which is Another Forme's ability).

The information provided on the official Japanese Pokémon Web site is essentially the same as that in the magazines; nothing else has been revealed as of yet. The site provides two in-game screen shots and some basic facts.
