Upcoming episodes

Can someone finally update this thing?--Branfili Talk My edits 04:26, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Check user after 2 months???

According to the User rights log, you said "two months have passed", yet I've been admin for eight? What's up with that?--Mew a.k.a. Immewnity* was here at 16:04, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Bulbanews:Check user: Users which are at the Administrator level or above may request to be made into check users after two months have passed since they were granted power initially. He requested it via PM per those instructions. --Argy 20:39, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Ah. Well, at the moment I don't think I need check user.--Mew a.k.a. Immewnity* was here at 21:58, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

The silhouettes

I added that due prove that nothing new was behind those. I guess, yeah, it would be speculation...--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 was here at 13:58, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

That doesn't prove anything, though. Modifying images is bad, especially when it comes to something official. It is to avoid reporting false information, and protect the reputation of the Bulbanews. I'm sure you know that. Ҝəυzø8 14:14, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Touché... didn't think of it like that.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 was here at 14:26, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Approve?

Would you approve of this? tc²₆tc26 04:29, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Argy is currently out, and won't be back until May 17, but where would it go?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 12:49, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
I placed it here so she could see it. My plan was somewhere below This week. tc²₆tc26 13:56, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
Looks good to me. Thank you, Tc26. --Argy 04:44, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! I'll just edit the Current events, OK? tc²₆tc26 05:41, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Not another inquiry!

Do you know how to contact Zhen Lin? I have been trying to ask him how to add "caption= | to the Lead Article automatic insertation? Thanks, Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 17:50, 21 April 2009 (UTC).

I will let him know. --Argy 01:08, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
It should be working, this time. - T 13:21, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Let's see... YIPPEE!!--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 16:15, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Yet another question from Prmatt11

Sorry if you are getting annoyed by my questions, but do you have any idea why the small caps isn't working? I just get the text surrounded by sc tags. It might just be my computer, but...--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 01:06, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Everyone's computer, not only yours, for sure. tags are also visible in Bulbapedia before it was taken down by Archaic. I guess it's a result of the "glitch" Bulbawiki is currently experiencing.. Ҝəυzø8 06:34, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

New article assistant addition

Can you add a section under "Image" that says "Caption" with the variable being "{{{caption}}}"? I will add a the part to the Lead article template. Captions would be useful on the Front Page, just to help early users.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 17:29, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

I don't know how to edit the NAA, at least not off the top of my head. I can look into it this weekend, though. --Argy 19:04, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
I have made the modifications to the relevant code. It seems to be working, but a proper test is required. - 振霖T 03:02, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Still one thing: you need to add the entry of the caption into the lead article insert for Current events.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 13:21, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Using the space

Just wondering, since we have that small space in the front page, can we use it for upcoming event Pokémon? Even Filb.de has it and it should only take a small amount of space. *tc26* 03:00, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry, can you be more specific as to "small space"? --Argy 13:57, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Bottom right. It was bigger before though. *tc26*
It fluctuates because of the article's blurb length.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 01:06, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Blocking Fenzo666

I'm having an error: "A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was: (SQL query hidden) from within function "Block::insert". MySQL returned error "1054: Unknown column 'ipb_allow_usertalk' in 'field list' (localhost)"."

Can you try to block him?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 19:59, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
I get the same thing. --Argy 02:15, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
This should be fixed now. - 振霖T 03:23, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
THANK YOU ZHEN! So... should he or Poryhack be blocked now?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 13:23, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Sorry to bother you.... I've looked everywhere, and one place says this problem has a "simple one line fix" but doesn't say what it is. If you know, could you tell me? I have the same problem ):. If you post it, I will answer the other people on the web who have the same question [1]. Anotherwiki 03:07, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

New Front page styling

Just asking for yer input.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 01:53, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Looks good, but can we add a "Next on" header above the soon-to-air episodes? If the header could look like the "Today" and "News in brief" headers, that would be good. --Argy 05:25, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

I think you fixed it

Yes, you fixed it.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 01:38, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Front Page HELP!

Ok, so I noticed that the Front Page does not seem to like the PokemonPlatinum.com article. Might thy Argy know how to fix thou error?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 00:09, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

You mean the URL that was displayed? The picture field on the article submission template is for Archives images only, so links don't work. Otherwise I didn't see anything wrong. --Argy 02:52, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
I fixed it. There was no blurb.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 12:49, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Bulbagarden

I sent you a personal message a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering if you got it. Thanks,--RexRacer 16:55, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Yes, I'm sorry, I don't know how I overlooked it. You do good work, but you haven't made that many contributions, so I would like you to do what you can for now. Even if you can't be the one to break a story, you can help editing articles to conform to Bulbanews style. If you can consistently prove that you know the style, then I'll promote you. --Argy 17:29, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

BulbaTwitter

Hey, I saw the new Bulbanews Twitter. Are you still working on it? I see no updates at all. Will it be a news service, taking articles from BN? Thanks, Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 22:19, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

I will be posting the stories manually when I see them. I don't want BulbaBot spamming people's phones like it does on the forums. So, expect delays. --Argy 17:54, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

No drafts?

Ello again! I was really wondering why the last article I submitted went directly to the main page, with no draft whatsoever. Is this a glitch?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 16:32, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

It's because we've marked you as a writer whose stories don't have to go through draft mode first. --Argy 20:10, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
Oh... Thank you!--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 22:23, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
No problem. Keep up the good work! --Argy 00:28, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
By the way, you said you didn't know I was on the forums. That's because I joined before Bulbanews, at least on one account. (I kept forgetting my password, and it kept forgetting mine, too. Got a better password now!)--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 18:24, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

C'mon

It is used a lot by the Pokémon Rom makers... should I post it there in the forums?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 15:16, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Bulbagarden policy is to not promote sites that host episodes or ROMs. We don't endorse ROMs (even fan-made ones), so people looking for them will have to go elsewhere. The article was also deleted because it was filled with the author's opinion, that "the site had a lot of traffic, more than PUSA sites, which made PUSA mad," essentially. Totally unverifiable. --Argy 15:21, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Contest

ahmmm...in the best battle fanfic contest, can i make i into a video or write it as a document?or just a still picture?

The contest ended yesterday, sorry. But it is fanfiction, as in writing a story. --Argy 15:22, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Aobasu, Naetle's evolved form, revealed

Should we even have this article? It isn't true, and I don't think we should have it. Do you think we should still? Maverick Nate 02:34, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Wow, you're quick. Thanks! Maverick Nate 02:43, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Gah!

You're the editor-in-chief, right? I don't mean to come across as an ass, but the article you approved on Stormfront was absolutely horrendous! Several of the facts were blatantly incorrect, such as the fact that Dragonite was in the set. Please do a more thorough fact check before allowing an article to pass through to the front page. Thanks. --Politoed666 02:28, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry. I am not familiar with the TCG. I did visit the official TCG site to make sure the author did not plagiarize. I didn't see a complete set list, so I didn't know that Dragonite wasn't in the set.
This site is a wiki so users can edit incorrect info like you did, so thank you. I am very busy in real life (my final year of college), so I don't always have time to run this site as thoroughly as I would like, especially when I am mostly doing it by myself. --Argy 03:04, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Don't worry about it. I completely understand. :D --Politoed666 02:53, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

HomeRun

I dunno, still seems weird to me. And they're quotation marks, not parentheses.--Urutapu 05:52, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

"Opinion?"

How so? --Politoed666 02:32, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

It's the whole unattributed "players are excited" section. Who said they are excited, or is that your opinion? We wouldn't know. I realize you weren't really trying to be opinionated, I'm just nitpicky like that. --Argy 16:28, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Umm...

How about using the accepted one on the 'pedia? "Arceus: To a Conquering Spacetime" So people do not get confuzzled.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 19:50, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Because that title makes no f***ing sense. This is not an extension of Bulbapedia; we are allowed to have our own interpretations. --Argy 20:45, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Though we should all agree on something... it's all the same site. What've we got as the name here? TTEchidna 06:50, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm pretty positive that we have Arceus: the Conquering of Spacetime as our accepted title. Can we try and move it on the 'pedia? It makes more sense than Arceus: To the Conquering of Spacetime
Blah, it's because "to" isn't there and "conquering" is a verb or so it's been said. Arceus: The Conquest of Spacetime, or Arceus: Toward Conquering Spacetime, makes sense. TTEchidna 05:07, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Keep what you want on Bulbapedia. I refuse to use a title on Bulbanews, however, that doesn't make sense. Gin thinks the best translation is Space-Time Conquered. I do not care for "Conquered" because it is passive, and I still think the へ implies a process of conquering, hence The Conquering of Spacetime. The process is implied in that translation. I don't think the へ is meant as a literal "to" or "toward," at least not when translated into English. What about Conquering Spacetime? That also implies a process and retains the verb. In any case, why can't they give us English versions of the titles like they did with the first four movies? X| --Argy 16:47, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Psh.

I told you I was from the future. What do you think the TT stands for? TTEchidna 08:08, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
