Harley will return in January for a contest episode, according to the character's Japanese voice actor, Junichi Kanemaru. His official Web site says ゴンベのデビュー戦！ハーリーと真剣勝負!! Gonbe's Battle Debut! Harley and Taking the Game Seriously!! is Advanced Generation episode 160 and will air in mid-January.
The last time Harley appeared in the Pokémon anime was in October, in Haruka's first Kanto contest.
