The board of editors, also known as the editorial board, is the authority on official policy and endorsed style on Bulbanews.

Authority

The board of editors has the authority to:

  • Set official binding policy.
  • Endorse non-binding guidelines.
  • Issue statements.
  • Appoint and dismiss editorial board members.
  • Approve and reject columns.
  • Issue and revoke writer, columnist, sysop, checkuser and bureaucrat powers.
    • This power is devolved to non-board administrators with bureaucrat powers in emergency situations.

Individual section editors have the authority to:

  • Set official binding policy.
  • Endorse non-binding guidelines.
  • Issue statements.
  • Approve and reject columns.
