We previously reported that Nintendo was dropping the retail price of the Nintendo 3DS, and was including 20 free games (10 NES, 10 GBA) for those that had bought the Nintendo 3DS at full price. We were originally informed that five of the NES games released to Ambassadors would be Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber and The Legend of Zelda.

Nintendo has finally revealed the final five games originally made for the Nintendo Entertainment System that will be ported to the Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors. These games include: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Wrecking Crew, Yoshi, Metroid, and NES Open Tournament Golf.

These 10 games will be available to all 3DS owners via the Eshop by the end of the year, and any updates made to the games will be given to Ambassadors free of charge. The NES titles will be available to 3DS Ambassadors starting September 1, 2011. Nintendo has yet to announce the final five GameBoy Advanced games, or give an official date for their release.
