A Nintendo 3DS

Update: All NES games are now available in all regions. They can be found under "Previously downloaded titles" in the Nintendo eShop, and can be downloaded by selecting "redownload".

More Virtual Console games for 3DS Ambassadors that were announced along with the price drop of the Nintendo 3DS have been revealed. Customers who bought a Nintendo 3DS and connected to the Nintendo eShop before the price drop were automatically entered in the Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors program. 3DS Ambassadors were told that they were to receive 20 free Virtual Console games (10 NES, 10 GBA). Previously, only five of the NES games were known: Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber and The Legend of Zelda.

Nintendo has finally revealed the final five games originally made for the Nintendo Entertainment System that will be ported to the Nintendo 3DS for Ambassadors. These games are: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Wrecking Crew, Yoshi, Metroid, and NES Open Tournament Golf.

These 10 games will be available to all 3DS owners via the Nintendo eShop by the end of the year, and any updates made to the games will be given to Ambassadors free of charge. The NES titles will be available to 3DS Ambassadors starting Sept. 1, 2011. Nintendo has yet to announce the final five Game Boy Advance Virtual Console games, or give an official date for their release.
