Several randomly picked subscribers of the Japanese magazine CoroCoro have been allowed to view the 12th Pokémon movie in advance of its July 18 release date. People who went to the screening have reported they saw a sneak preview of the upcoming games Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver and the next Pokémon movie — featuring Ho-Oh and Lugia.
A new commercial for Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver was shown prior to the distribution of Arceus. The commercial showed Entei, Raikou and Suicune, as well as the Red Gyarados, in 3-D. Previously reported game footage was also shown.
A teaser trailer featuring Ho-Oh and Lugia fighting each other was shown after the movie, revealing that the legendary Pokémon of Johto will appear in the 13th Pokémon movie that will premiere in 2010.
