Brand new 3DS themes to come with special edition 3DS systems in Japan

A new Pokémon-themed Home menu theme will be included with each of the upcoming Pokémon special edition New Nintendo 3DS XL systems to be released in Japan.

A theme featuring Solgaleo and Lunala will be released with the black Solgaleo and Lunala Limited Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL. It features both of these Legendary Pokémon.

A theme featuring Pikachu will be released with the yellow Pikachu-themed New Nintendo 3DS XL. It features Pikachu with three different expressions: neutral, winking, and sleeping.

As previously reported, these special edition New Nintendo 3DS XL systems will be released in Japan on November 18, 2016 (the same day as Pokémon Sun and Moon), with preorders opening tomorrow (July 16, 2016).

The Solgaleo and Lunala Limited Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL will also be released in Europe, Russia, Australia and New Zealand in November; however, no information about a 3DS theme has been revealed for these regions.
