Update:  Full details of the tournament have been revealed. Each battle is a double Pokémon battle in the tournament. Mew, Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Chatot, Dialga, Palkia, Arceus, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, nor Genesect may not be used in the tournament. Wonder Launcher cannot be used.

Pokémon at level 50 or higher will be set to level 50 for the tournament. Pokémon below level 50 will retain that level for the tournament. Each player may choose four Pokémon for each battle.

The Coro Coro Cup 2013 has been announced for Japan. In this tournament, there are teams of three people each. The winning team is invited to the World Championships in Canada. The tournament will be held on June 9 in Osaka and June 23 in Tokyo.

The Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 games are required for this tournament.
