Darkrai has been announced as a new playable character for Pokkén Tournament. It will be added to the arcade version in an update on July 20, 2016. No details about the Wii U version have been revealed.

Darkrai is the first fighter not present in the Wii U version to be added to Pokkén Tournament since the release of the Wii U version.
