The 16th Pokémon movie, Genesect and the Legend Awakened, will screen in selected Hoyts cinemas across Australia and New Zealand on November 16 and 17, with each cinema showing the movie once each day at 1 p.m. Thanks to Beyond Home Entertainment and Hoyts Cinemas, Bulbagarden has 10 Double Passes to give away for the Australian screenings.

Double Pass giveaway

For your chance to win one of 10 Double Passes, send an email in to [email protected] with your first name, age, and postcode. You can also enter in-person at the Supanova Expo in Brisbane this weekend at the Bulbagarden table, which is located in the Lower RICC Building in Artist's Alley at position 196. All entries must be in by 11:59pm, Monday the 11th of November, Perth Time. Entries are limited to 1 per household. Please do NOT email the contest email with any questions about the contest. It is highly likely that your email will go unnoticed amongst all the emails from people entering the competition. Instead, ask your question on the Bulbagarden forums thread for this contest, or via the Bulbagarden Facebook or Twitter.

Pre-screening Pokémon Trading Card Game demos

Banter Toys, the distributors for the Trading Card Game in Australia and New Zealand, will be running Trading Card demonstrations at selected screenings prior to the movie starting, starting from 11am. Locations include the Blacktown (NSW), Broadway (NSW), Chadstone (VIC), Eastland (VIC), Stafford (QLD), Tea Tree Plaza (SA), Garden City (WA), Woden (ACT) and Wairau Park (New Zealand) cinemas.

All guests purchasing their Pokémon movie tickets from hoyts.com.au can enter a competition through them to win 1 of 12 Pokémon Prize Packs worth over $200 including the newest DVDs, trading cards and figures. The Grand Pokémon Contest

To celebrate the release of the newest Pokémon movie at Hoyts and on DVD, Beyond Home Entertainment, in partnership with Banter Toys and Collectibles, Nintendo and Tomy, is giving away one of the biggest Pokémon prize packs of all time! The contest consists of 1 Major Prize worth more than $2,300. Ten runner-up winners will receive a copy of the Pokémon The Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened on DVD, valued at $19.95.
