During the storyline, the player must defeat Keiji to progress through the game; however, he cannot be befriended at that time. Keiji can be befriended after completing the episode. Once Keiji is befriended, he can become a part of the player's army. This event will only be available to the player after they have gone through the first ending sequence.
A new password has also been revealed for Pokémon Conquest.
