A music CD release of the soundtrack from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has been announced in Japan. The album will be called "Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Super Music Complete" (ニンテンドー3DS ポケモン オメガルビー・アルファサファイア スーパーミュージックコンプリート) in Japanese. The album will be released on December 3, 2014 with a catalogue number of OVCP-0004.
The album will be a six-disc set, the longest of any Pokémon game soundtrack to date. The first four discs will contain the music from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, while the last two discs will contain all the music from the original Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire Versions, originally released on disc as "GBA Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire Music Super Complete" in 2003. Earlier this year, the original Ruby and Sapphire soundtrack was released internationally on iTunes as Pokémon Ruby & Pokémon Sapphire: Super Music Collection, along with several other game soundtracks previously released in Japan. It is not currently known if or when the Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire soundtrack album will see an international release.
