Players of American and Japanese region Pokémon Sun and Moon worldwide can use the code PIKACHUM20 to obtain Original Cap Pikachu in their games. Players can use this code to obtain Original Cap Pikachu even if they already obtained a Pikachu in a cap from the previous distribution.

The code can be used until November 23, 2017. It does not work in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. This distribution is to promote the release of Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! in Singapore, but works on American and Japanese region games worldwide.

This Pikachu is level 1, has the Ability Static, and has a Hardy nature. It knows the moves Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Thunder and Agility. It is in a Poké Ball and has the Original Trainer Ash with the Trainer ID number 090898. It comes bundled with a Pikashunium Z, but players who already have one will not be given it again.
