The freemium mobile game Pokémon GO is now available for iOS and Android in 31 African countries. Specifically, it is now available in Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Rwanda, Seychelles, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Chad, Gabon, São Tomé and Príncipe, Egypt, Morocco, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, the Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mauritania, Niger, Sierra Leone, and Togo. This follows its release last Saturday in Central Asia and Mongolia.

Pokémon GO was originally released in July this year. So far, it has been released in the Americas, Japan, Hong Kong and Macau, Taiwan, Mongolia, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, Oceania, parts of Africa, and most of Europe.
