Several seiyū from the Pokémon anime will perform at the Tokyo International Anime Fair March 30. The tentative title for the event is TAF&JAU - Nippairen Popular Seiyū Big Gathering - Voice Treasure Chest Part 2 (TAF&JAU 日俳連人気声優大集合 ボイス玉手箱パート2).
Rica Matsumoto, the voice of Satoshi, and Shin'ichirō Miki, voice of Kojiro, will perform at the acting workshop, which is currently taking applications for participants. According to the TAF blog, the workshop aims to feature actors with popular and easily recognizable voices and roles.
Hosting the event is Pokémon veteran Kōichi Yamadera, who has voiced a character in every Pokémon movie (most notably as Aaron and Lugia), and Minami Takayama, the voice of Hiroshi. Also performing will be Romi Paku (Jirō), Nachi Nozawa (Ukon), Tōru Furuya (Sorao), Eiko Masuyama and unidentified others.
JAU is the acronym for the Japan Actors Union, also known as Nippairen.
