To promote the Pika Pika Battle event, a Shiny Pikachu will be distributed in South Korea from October 17 to 18, 2015 to promote the Pika Pika Battle. It will be distributed at the Seoul Cheongnyangni Lotte Department Store 8F from 11 am to 6 pm.

It will have the Ability Static and know the moves Teeter Dance, Play Nice, Tail Whip and Nuzzle. It can only be obtained in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It will be released via infrared.

The Pika Pika Battle is to take place on October 18, 2015 at the same location. The tournament will be Double Battles using Flat rules. Any Pokémon except the Pokémon Global Link's Special Pokémon can be used (the standard banlist for official tournaments). Additionally, the Shiny Pikachu distributed in either this distribution or last week's must be included in the party of every player. Limited players will be available for players who achieve 3 wins. This event will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm.
