Shogakukan Asia releases X & Y chapter

On May 27, 2015, Shogakukan Asia released their first volume of the X & Y chapter of the Pokémon Adventures manga in Singapore. Like in many other regions, their release of the X & Y chapter is numbered separately from their regular Adventures releases. The volume, titled Pokémon Adventures XY volume 1, is 192 pages in length and is directly based on the Japanese mini-volumes published by parent company Shogakukan in Japan.
Also released by Shogakukan Asia on the same date is Pokémon Adventures Ruby & Sapphire volume 4, the fourth and final volume in their omnibus release of the Ruby & Sapphire chapter. Unlike other volumes published by Shogakukan Asia, these volumes use VIZ Media's translation of the manga.
In North America, VIZ Media's latest release is Pokémon XY volume 3, released this month on June 2. Forthcoming this summer are Pokémon Adventures volume 29 and Pokémon Adventures volume 50 (published as "Pokémon Adventures: Black & White volume 8"), both due for release on July 7. Volume 29 will fully close the gap in volume releases created by VIZ Media publishing the different chapters of the manga out of order — once this particular volume is released, volumes 1 through 50 will be available uninterrupted in VIZ Media's publishing region.
