Two new {{bp|Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions|HeartGold and SoulSilver}} Wi-fi events have been revealed. A {{bp|Mew (Pokémon)|Mew}} and the key item Mysterious Crystal will be available for download. The Mew will be at level 5 with a Premier Ribbon, and the Mysterious Crystal, when taken to the Pewter Museum, will unlock the item {{bp|Soul Dew}} and allow you to capture either {{bp|Latios (Pokémon)|Latios}} or {{bp|Latias (Pokémon)|Latias}} (depending on {{bp|Main series|version}}).
The official Japanese Pokemon Web site has announced two events for Japanese players of {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver}} and {{v3|Diamond|Pearl|Platinum}} via the {{bp|Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection}}. The first will be the legendary {{p|Mew}}, only knowning the move Pound. This Mew will be at level 5 and holds a {{bp|Ribbon#Event_Ribbons|Premier Ribbon}}, a special event ribbon. The event will take place Nov. 11 to Nov. 23, 2009, for players of HeartGold and SoulSilver, and Jan. 29 to Feb. 11, 2010, for Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum players.
 
Another upcoming event is the {{tt|Enigma Crystal|なぞのすいしょう}} for {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver}}, which grants access to either {{p|Latias}} or {{p|Latios}}, depending on which version the item is downloaded to. This rare key item will be distributed Nov. 27, 2009, to Jan. 11, 2010.
