{{p|Pikachu}} will return to the annual {{wp|Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade}} in balloon form thanks to The {{bp|Pokémon Company International}} on Thursday, November 25th, which is {{wp|Thanksgiving}} in the United States. The annual event will mark the tenth consecutive year that Pikachu will be visiting the annual holiday tradition with the second incarnation of the character, chasing a huge {{bp|Poké Ball}} balloon on the parade route in Manhattan with it's cheeks lighting up. From 2001 through 2005, a "{{bp|Pikachu variants#Flying Pikachu|Flying Pikachu}}" balloon was displayed annually in the event, and that balloon was retired at the "Party of the Decade" Tenth Anniversary event at Bryant Park in August of 2006. | |||
