Two brand new Nintendo 3DS themes have been released in Europe and Australia to promote the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, featuring Pokémon from the Alola region.

The theme "Pokémon Solgaleo/Lunala" features Solgaleo and Lunala. The background music is "Start of an Adventure" from Pokémon Sun and Moon.

The theme "Pokémon—Tropical" features the Alola starter Pokémon and several other Generation VII Pokémon. The background music is "Melemele Island Route 1" from Pokémon Sun and Moon.
