CoroCoro Comic has revealed that the Sun & Moon series of the Pokémon anime will debut on Nov. 17, 2016 in Japan. This is the day before Pokémon Sun and Moon are released in Japan. The series premiere will be a one-hour special.

In the Sun & Moon series, Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu head off to a new region, Alola, wearing a new set of clothes. He receives a Z-Ring and becomes a student at a school.
