New details have been revealed about the Pikachu Outbreak event to be held in Minato Mirai in Yokohama, Japan from Aug. 9 to 15, 2017.


A Pikachu will be distributed for Pokémon Sun and Moon at the Pikachu Walk at the Pikachu Outbreak event. The Pikachu Walk runs each day from August 9 to 15, 2017, starting at Queen's Square Yokohama and turning at Grand Mall Park. The distribution can be obtained near the walking Pikachu. Players can obtain this distribution once per save file.

A "Pokémon participating in the parade" will be distributed for Pokémon Sun and Moon at the Pikachu Carnival Parade at the Pikachu Outbreak event. The Pikachu Carnival Parade will be held on August 14, 2017 from 6 pm onward along the road Nihon-ōdōri starting from Zou-no-hana Park and turning at Yokohama Park. The distribution can be obtained from 3 to 5 pm in the area between the intersection in front of the Yokohama Port Post Office and Yokohama Park. Players can obtain this distribution any number of times in their game, as long as they have room for the Wonder Card.

Pokémon GO Park is a previously announced Pokémon GO event that will be held from 10 am to 6 pm each day from August 9 to 15, 2017. There will be two event sites: the "Kanto Park" will be held at Red Brick Park and feature Generation I Pokémon, while the "Johto Park" will be held at Cupnoodles Museum Park and feature Generation II Pokémon.

For a limited time, Mr. Mime, a Pokémon normally exclusive to Europe in Pokémon GO, will appear at Pokémon GO Park. 2 km Eggs Eggs collected from PokéStops in Pokémon GO Park will contain slightly different groups of Pokémon than normal.

Physical representations of the PokéStops and Gym will be set up inside the venue to make it easier for Pokémon GO players to walk to the corresponding PokéStops and the Gym appearing inside the game.
