A new Japanese trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon has been released, and it shows off a number of new features.

Rowlet, Litten, Popplio, and Pikachu were shown using some kind of special new attacks in the trailer. Pikachu's special attack was included as one of the images in a sneak peek of new features, which was released with the last major new trailer. In order to use these special moves, the Pokémon's Trainer's bracelets glow, then the Trainer makes a number of dramatic poses. Then, energy flows from the Trainer into the Pokémon and diamond appears in front of it bearing a color and symbol corresponding to the Pokémon's type. Only after this does the Pokémon use the powerful-looking move.

Additionally, the player was shown riding several different Pokémon, using harnesses. Specifically, they were shown to ride a Tauros and Stoutland on land, and a Lapras and Sharpedo on water. The ability to ride Stoutland was included as one of the images in a sneak peek of new features, which was released with the last major new trailer.

The trailer showed a new mode similar to Pokémon-Amie in which the player blowdries their Pikachu with a hairdryer shaped like Porygon2. There is also an icon on the screen during this mode that indicates the player can brush their Pokémon.

The trailer also revealed the menu, which contains the following icons: Pokémon, Pokédex, Bag, Save, Trainer Pass, Poké Refre. Poké Refre (seemingly a shortened version of "Refresh") appears to be the new mode that is similar to Pokémon-Amie.

Furthermore, the two new Pokémon revealed in this month's CoroCoro, Mimikkyu and Kiteruguma, appear very briefly in this trailer.

Also of note is that Eevee only has 8 evolved forms in Pokémon Sun and Moon according to the Pokédex, so no new evolution of Eevee will be introduced in these games.
