The official Web site for the ninth Pokémon movie, ポケモンレンジャーと蒼海の王子 Pokémon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea, opened to the public this week. The site hosts the movie's teaser posters and trailer as well as some additional information.

The site, located at http://www.pokemon-movie.jp, features the movie's teaser poster as a backdrop. The image features a blond-haired Pokémon Ranger using his capture stylus on Kyogre. A frame with the teaser trailer rests in the upper right corner of the page, and silhouettes of first- through third-generation Water-type Pokémon rest in the bottom right corner.

The teaser trailer, located in the section labelled よこくへん Preview, is available in three different sizes: 1.96 MB, 8.36 MB and 17.3 MB.

Also hosted on the site is a video interview with the director of the movie, Kunihiko Yuyama, on location in the film's setting's model, Italy.

No Pikachu short film has been announced, and it is assumed there will not be one as the past two Pokémon movies have gone without them.

The movie will premiere in Japanese theaters on July 15. Still no date has been set for a North American release of the eighth Pokémon movie, Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero: Lucario.
