Further Diamond and Pearl info released: Difference between revisions

The Yahoo! Japan Kids Web site for the upcoming Pokémon Diamond and Pearl games has been updated with large and high quality images of [http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/news/story/story005/story005.html?page=0 the box art, legendaries] and [http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/news/pokemon/pokemon004/pokemon004.html?page=0 other new Pokémon], along with [http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/news/system/system004/system004.html?page=0 videos of the battle system working on dual screens] and even an explanation of the use of [http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/news/system/system005/system005.html?page=1 DS WiFi with the game]. Buried deep within the site, a picture of the [http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/news/system/system004/system004.html?page=0 new rival] can be found; he seems to be an entirely seperate character from the male and female characters players may use themselves.

According to [http://pokemon.kids.yahoo.co.jp/dp/news/campaign/campaign002/campaign002.html?page=0 one page] of the site, those who preorder Diamond will recieve a limited edition figure of {{p|Diaruga}}, with Pearl preorders recieving {{p|Parukia}}. Those who preorder both will recieve a further one, though what Pokémon this may be has yet to be revealed.

The site displays small silhouettes of six new Pokémon, and an in-game sprite of an {{p|Electabuzz}} evolution is featured. Other screenshots included the in-game map of Shin'ō, and a new feature that allows players to customize their Pokémon by physically attaching items. However, it is unknown if these items will be visible during battles.
